When
are Ed Sheeran tickets on sale? Where can I get them?
Tickets go on general sale at 10am
on Thursday 2 February from the following official vendors:
Is there a pre-sale for Ed Sheeran
tickets?
Pre-sale tickets for the gigs will
be available from 10am on Tuesday 31 January.
For details, go
to Ed Sheeran’s official website.
As always with pre-sales, the
number of tickets available will be limited.
How much are the tickets?
According to Seetickets, for the O2
Arena in London it will cost £84.25 to stand and £51.25 or £84.25 for a seat
(plus transaction fee).
Tickets at other venues are a
little cheaper – £77 to stand and £44 or £77 for a seat (plus fee).
Prices may vary a little according
to ticket agent.
Where can I buy Ed Sheeran tickets
if the gigs sell out?
Bad news for touts and secondary
agents: Ed Sheeran has named Twickets as the official resell partner.
Twickets allows fans to sell
unwanted tickets for face value (or less), with the buyer paying just a small
admin charge.
So, yes, there’s still hope of
getting in at a reasonable price if you miss out in the official sale.
See the Twickets
site for more details.
Who is
supporting Sheeran on tour?
The support act for UK and Ireland
dates has yet to be announced.
In the US, Ed will be supported
by James Blunt.
At Wembley Stadium, Ed was
supported by the likes of OneRepublic, Rudimental and Passenger.
Is Ed
Sheeran playing Glastonbury Festival 2017?
Rumours have been circulating for
some time that Ed will top the bill
at Glastonbury this year but organisers have yet to confirm the
headliners.
The 25-year-old has reportedly said
it’s his ‘dream’ to headline the festival.
He previously played there in 2011
and 2014.
